Firstly get the template and cut each individual parts of the template and stick the parts that go together with sellotape.

Secondly, put the template on the large piece of foam and trace the outline of all the shapes with a pencil, remember that you have to do some shapes more than once like the main sword shape.

Now, cut each shape with an X-Acto knife, make three cuts one for the top paper, the second for the foam and the last for the bottom paper.

Then stick the shapes on top of each other like shown in the video. Sand all the edges so it is nice and smooth.

Next sand any parts to make it look better, for example, make a line across the blade or sand the edge of the blade so it looks sharper.

Then with foil tape cover the blade slowly so no bubbles are made and press any decoration you did so you can see them.

Finally, with brown duct tape and golden duct tape do the handle but stick it a little bit turned so it has a more realistic effect.
