Firstly level the cake with the cake leveller, cut a piece of foil so that the cake can sit on it and put whipped cream on top of the foil.
Secondly, put the cake on top of the foil, put more frosting between each layer repeat until you have three layers of cake.
Then place frosting all around the sides of the cake with the frosting spatula, place the cake in the fridge.
Meanwhile the cake is in the fridge, get the fondant, two cocktail sticks and the red and yellow dye, stick the sticks in the dyes and put about twice the amount of yellow than red dye.
After that mix the fondant evenly till you get the wright orange colour, if it gets too sticky add powdered sugar on it and then roll out the fondant make sure there is powdered sugar underneath the fondant so it doesn’t stick.
When you are done with the fondant roll up the fondant to the rolling pin and place it slowly to the top of the cake so the cake it’s covered.
Now push down the fondant so it is as flat as you can. Remember to only cut the sides of fondant that are too long because if you cut the corners it won’t have texture when you paint it.
Painting time!! To get the colour, mix water and red dye and have a different pot with just brown dye, first put the brush in the red watered dye and then to the brown dye. Paint a circle on the top and colour a line on all four corners and four in between.
Use yellow dyed fondant to get the eyes and the mouth and stick them on the front with frosting and colour around the eyes and mouth with brown and red dye. Use red coloured water to give texture on all sides and the eyes and mouth so it looks 3D.
Finally, mix white fondant with brown dye and make it fit the circle you painted like if it was the top stem.
