Planning your kids Easter and you want it to be Minecraft related? Or just like the idea of a Minecraft themed box? Well, here in this post I will explain how to make these cool Easter rabbit and chicken boxes! The video is made by ZaiLetsPlay.
Firstly print out the box template to your cardstock sheets and cut the outline of the templates with an X-Acto knife, if it helps you use a ruler to make straight lines.
Secondly, fold all the edges that have to be folded with a ruler. Remember you have to put glue on the side of the tab that says ‘glue’ and remember as well that the tabs have to go inside.
Then glue the box with the tabs, put glue where it says ‘glue’ and make sure the tabs are in the box not outside. Wach out to leave the top unstuck so it can have a lid.
Next, draw a 5 x 5 grid with a ruler, all the squares must be equal. Cut two black felt squares that are the size of a square and stick it in the second row down and the second and fourth column.
Now cut a gold felt rectangle that in three square x one square and stick it under the two eyes and then cut a red felt square and stick it underneath the very center square.
Next, cut two yellow squares and cut a little square on the bottom left-hand side and another one on the bottom right-hand side and stick them in the bottom as feet.
Finally get some of the spare card stock paper and cut two identical rectangles don’t make them too thin. Next, fold a little tab and stick one on the center of the one side and the other on the other side. Erase all your lines.
Firstly do the same thing you did in step 1 to 3 but with brown cardstock. Then draw a 5 x 5 grid on the front of the box.
Secondly cut a square that is the size of one square and stick it underneath the very center square with glue.
Next cut two black felt rectangles that are 2 x 1 squares and stick them on the second and third row like shown in the photo.
Now cut two brown felt rectangles. Then cut two brown cardstock rectangles that are about a centimeter wide and across more than the felt rectangles.
Finally, stick a felt rectangle to a cardstock rectangle, you should get 2 ears at the end. Stick the ears to the top of the rabbit with glue. Stick a ball of cotton wool on the back of the box as a tail.
